End of Summit

Asian Metal's leverage in the metal industry continues to grow in strength in disseminating information to stakeholders, and this was aptly demonstrated during its maiden Ferroalloys Summit that held at Swissotel, Beijing, from April 24-26, 2007.

The summit, among others, brought major producers and consumers together who exchanged ideas and experience on opportunities and challenges facing the industry. Furthermore, senior Chinese government officials participated fully and explained the rationale behind policy measures currently being implemented as it concerns ferroalloys industry.

Ferroalloys-related Logistics companies were not left behind and this afforded dealers and producers on how to avoid frictions and delays in delivery schedule, using the most efficient and value-driven enterprises and agencies.

During the conference, the media was well represented. Among these were journalists from world renown news agencies like Xinhua News Agency, Reuters, Inter-fax and Bloomberg, and in all, close to 200 delegates from 140 companies world-wide had opportunities to network on, and improve upon the profile of, their companies with many concluding several deals at favorable terms.

Asian Metal thanks all the delegates, companies and agencies who graced and supported the convening of the Ferroalloys Summit 2007, and we make bold to hold a better and more result-oriented Ferroalloys Summit 2008 with much higher leverage as more players are using Asian Metal Prices as a major reference for their business.
