    Alufer visits Asian Metal

On the afternoon of August 23, Mr. Tristan Clarke, Commercial Director and Ms. Terry Ting, Sales Counselor of Alufer Mining Ltd. visited Asian Metal and talked about the global bauxite market as well as the demand in China with Mr. Friday Gao, Senior Product Manager of Asian Metal.
Mr. Gao analyzed the current Chinese alumina market, new demand for imported bauxite and the bauxite supply from Guinea, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, etc.
Mr. Tristan noted that they now have more buyers in both China coastal and inland regions and plan to produce around 5.5 million tonnes of Guinean bauxite in 2019. For the shipping cost increase, he anticipated a higher bauxite price in 2020.
Alufer Mining has been a major sponsor to Asian Metal's annual Bauxite Summit for several years. They follow market data published by Asian Metal closely.
