    Asian Metal visits Gejiu Nonferrous, Gejiu Yunxin Nonferrous and Gejiu Qiandao Metals

    On November 29 of 2017, Zhao Hao, the president assistant of Asian Metal, and Yao Guangzhi, the tin market analyst, visited Gejiu Nonferrous Metals Processing Co., Ltd., Gejiu Yunxin Nonferrous Metals electrolysis Co., Ltd. and Gejiu Qiandao Metals Co., Ltd., who were warmly welcomed by the above enterprises.
    On the afternoon of November 29th, Zhao Hao and Yao Guangzhi visited Gejiu Nonferrous Metals Processing Co., Ltd. and were warmly received by Wu Yin, the general manager of the company. Zhao Hao and Yao Guangzhi visited the plant of the company ushered by Mr. Wu, who also offered detailed introduction to the company’s equipment and the characteristics as well as advantages of the manufacturing techniques. Mr. Wu claimed that smelters should try to upgrade the brand value and maximize profit margins in order to survive in the coming fierce competitions.
    Subsequently, Zhao Hao and Yao Guangzhi visited the Gejiu Nonferrous Metals Electrolysis Co., Ltd. They communicated and discussed with Lu Zhenghua, the president of the company, and Chen Jianxiong, the general manager of the company, in respect of the environmental inspections’ impacts on the supply and demand of the whole tin industry. Mr. Lu conveyed that smelters have been greatly affected by environmental inspections this year and their smelter has been in long-term abnormal production, which imposed significant influence on the operation of their company. They also developed exchanges on current operations of tin smelters.

    On the evening, Zhao Hao and Yao Guangzhi shared dinner with Zhang Huanqun, the general manager of Gejiu Qiandao Metals Co., Ltd., and Gao Zhaowei, the business manager of the company. Yao Guangzhi conducted depth communication and analysis with Zhang Huanqun on the market of Burma-imported tin ores so far this year and exchanged views on possible circumstances for the future market. Mr. Zhang claimed that about a half of dressing plants are in suspension in Wa State of Burma at present due to no feedings of ores. Mr. Zhang will go to Wa State for business negotiations soon and keep close contact with Yao Guangzhi after coming back to China. In addition, Mr. Zhang is highly interested in participation in Asian Metal’s Tin Ore Forum next year.
