Asian Metal visits Thousand Island Metal, Huayue Solder and other tin solder companies in Guangdong
From August 1 to August 3, Mandy Gan, tin market analyst of Asian Metal, visited Dongguan City Thousand Island Metal Foil Co., Ltd. (Thousand Island Metal), Dongguan Huayue Solder Products Co., Ltd. (Huayue Solder), Dongguan Yihui Industry Co., Ltd. (Yihui Industry), Dongguan Feite Metal Technology Co., Ltd. (Feite Metal) and other tin solder companies in Dongguan, Shenzhen and other regions of Guangdong province.
In the morning of August 1, Mandy and Xie Yunping, Mao Mao from Shanghai Tuochuan International Trade Co., Ltd. (Shanghai Tuochuan) visited South China Warehouse and Logistics Co., Ltd., which is located in Shenzhen, and were warmly received by Wu Jinshan, the general manager of the company. Mz. Wu noted that their warehouse business was not very good as tin market changed rapidly and suppliers held limited stocks. In the afternoon of the day, Mandy went to Shenzhen Ninglifeng Industry Co., Ltd. (Ninglifeng Industry) and met Liu Yanning and Zhu Chuanbo, the general manager of the company. They disclosed that it’s hard to grasp the rules of tin prices as the financial market brings many influences on the real economy, adding that tin prices still have room to increase affected by tight supply for raw materials.

On the morning of August 2, Mandy reached Huayue Solder and communicated with Chen Tingxiong and Luo Qu, the president and the general manager of the company respectively. Both of them noted that demand in the solder material market shrunk obviously in the past two years and the processing technology was backward and needed to be upgraded. Then, Mandy arrived in Dongguan Huayi Solder Tin Products Co., Ltd. (Huayi Solder), visiting the office location of the company and communicating friendly with Hua Jianping, the general manager.

Workshop of Huayue Solder
Mandy got to Yihui Industry in the afternoon of August 2, visiting the workshop and communicating with Yu Yuanqing, the general manager, about the market condition of tin solder material. After that, Mandy reached Feite Metal and was received by He Shijin, the general manager of the company.

In the morning of August 3, Mandy, together with Chen Tingxiong and Yu Yuanqing, visited Dongguan City Thousand Island Metal Foil Co., Ltd. (Thousand Island Metal) and exchanged opinions with Lin Chengzai, execute vest president of the company, who noted that they keep their output for solder material at about 1,000t per month. In the afternoon of the day, Mandy drove to Dongguan Zhongli Tin Co., Ltd. (Zhongli Tin) and met Li Qinzhong, the general manager, who remarked that they did processing and trade of tin scraps previously but merely keep limited trade on tin scraps due to the sluggish market.
