Xinheng Group visits Asian Metal

On May 27, 2015, Xinheng Group visited Asian Metal. Mr. Wu Chuanjiang, Deputy General Manager from Trader Center of Xinheng Group, and Ms. Wang Qin, Chairman Assistant, Mr. Wang Ke, Director of Metal Department and Mr. Liang Qin from the Group talked about aluminum market with Mr. Friday Gao, Senior Analyst of Asian Metal.

Mr. Wu expressed his concern on primary aluminum market and downstream products, saying most Chinese primary aluminum smelters suffer losses in the current sluggish market. However, bauxite and alumina markets are a little better.

Mr. Liang said that they consume Australian bauxite for alumina production in Inner Mongolia with the annual capacity of 500,000t. The refinery suspended production for technology improvement this month. In the future, they will also consider consuming bauxite imported from other countries.
