Asian Metal visits Chongqing Kangmeng, Wujiang Industry, Gratitude Metal and Runji Far East alloy

Frank Chen, manganese market analyst of Asian Metal visited Chongqing Kangmeng Trade Co., Ltd., Chongqing Wujiang Industry Group Trade Co., Ltd., Gratitude Metal Trading Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Runji Far East Alloy Co., Ltd. during December 11-12th, and was welcomed by the four enterprises.
On the afternoon of December 11th, Asian Metal visited Chongqing Kangmeng Trade Co., Ltd., and interviewed Henry Yu, the general manager. Kangmeng has become one of the top five Chinese manganese metal exporters so far in 2014, ranking the first in Chongqing. Mr. Yu noted that Chinese manganese metal exports continue to rebound this year, but the price competition also becomes fiercer. However, the company will put product quality and credit as the priority, and provide more manganese metals with high quality and safety to overseas end users in 2015.
On the morning of December 12th, Asian Metal visited Chongqing Wujiang Industry Group Trade Co., Ltd. According to Man Zhang, the chairman, their manganese flake project in Songtao, Guizhou has completed construction, and will begin operation in the near future. As one of the top five manganese flake producers in China, the group will attend 3rd World Selenium & Manganese Forum, which will be held by Asian Metal in Chongqing during April 23-24th, 2015. In addition, the group is providing electricity for most manganese flake plants in Chongqing.
On the afternoon of December 12th, Asian Metal visited Gratitude Metal Trading Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Runji Far East Alloy Co., Ltd. respectively. In Gratitude Metal, Rui Li, the sales manager believed that manganese flake prices are likely to slip further within December, as a result of weakening demand from Chinese domestic steel mills, so the export prices will follow to decrease. In Runji Far East Alloy, Hong Fu, the chairman and Li Fu, the general manager cited that manganese metal producers are experiencing a tough time in China for the dim market, and their plant in Guangxi suspended production early this year. Nevertheless, they are confident of the high quality of the product and deemed that they can win orders from both Chinese and overseas consumers when the market recovers.
