- Asian Metal is proud to present the inaugural International Tungsten, Tantalum and Niobium Forum
- Asian Metal is pleased to announce that they will be hosting the International Tungsten, Tantalum and Niobium Forum on 14-16 June 2016 in Copenhagen.
- Over the course of 2015 the tungsten, niobium and tantalum markets have all experienced a substantial downturn in both pricing and consumption. These markets remain in an uncertain period, and there is likely to be a period of restructuring and consolidation in the coming months. At the event there will be a discussion of these markets and their role within the declining commodities sector. A solution to the many issues that have appeared for the sector is not immediately apparent and addressing these issues with the most foremost minds in the industry will be crucial for the development of business strategy in the near future.
- The markets are currently experiencing intense pressure throughout the supply chain and a congregation of the key players will provide insight and analysis upon the development of these markets through the first six months of 2016. The prospects, constraints and development possibilities for the remainder of the year will also be a principle point of discourse at the event.
- After a price collapse of 40% for tungsten, 37% for tantalum and 21% for niobium, what new opportunities exist for these markets and what endeavours are being made to turn these markets around?
