End of Summit

Hosted by Asian Metal, the World Tin Mining Forum 2016 successful came to an end in Kunming, Yunnan on June 24, 2016. The Forum has been sponsored and supported by the Conflict Minerals Purchasing Organization, Beijing Guojiashang Trading Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Hunnan Storage and Logistics Co., Ltd.

Topics in this Forum include the development and application of Chinese tin ore resources, challenges for tin mining in D.R. Congo, exploitation and outlook of Burmese tin resources, the future trend for Chinese tin market in H2, etc. As speakers, well-known experts, scholars and tin market participants both at home and abroad have attended this Forum and gave excellent speeches based on the above topics. More than 100 persons attended the Forum, from mainland China, Taiwan of China, Hongkong of China, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, the United States, etc.

The Forum initially gave systemic, detailed and in-depth description on Burma's mining history and process, gradually removing the mysterious veil on Burmese ores; the mining scale of African ores, bottleneck for current mining and even concluded prices have been clarified in this Forum and so do the status quo and outlook of Chinese tin market. Most Forum participants claimed that this Forum is pertinent, enlightening and significant.

Based on the "tin industry", we will continue to strive for "international platform and special forum".
