Chinese stainless steel prices witnessed different trends during this month. Prices of 304 grade stainless HRC and CRC, 201 grade stainless HRC and CRC, 300 series stainless steel bar and 304 grade stainless seamless pipe in major markets of China went down during the month on weak demand and the decrease in steel mills' EXW prices, while those of 430 grade stainless CRC moved up mainly supported by the increase in steel mills' EXW prices. As customers just purchased materials upon orders, the market sales performance remained poor.
