The demand from domestic and overseas markets for cadmium ingot reduced in July, so the price of cadmium ingot decreased sharply. Most cadmium ingot producers started to clean up the stocks and consumers’ bargaining power increased. Although the price have been decreasing, consumers purchased inactively. Insiders were pessimistic about the coming market and thought the price still had the space to slip down. Influenced by the decreasing price of cadmium ingot, the price of cadmium oxide also slipped down. The inventory of cadmium oxide increased.
